Description
I've been looking for this cut off of one of my many Zoom H2 jams on my harddrive to share . I finally found it. This was recorded sometime in June. I've been really wanting to try out the ukulele recently. I've been following the travels of uke players Bosko and Honey on YouTube and have been inspired by them to add this instrument to my repertoire.
My friend Jim has a National Resonator Uke that he plays slide on occasion with for fun. I asked if I could try it out. Here are the results. I think I like it. Next i'll have to get one for myself and record it with my Weissenborn.
One thing I like about the uke is that I have no preconceived notions about what it should be or how it should sound, so instead of trying to 'shred' or show off my chops, I can just enjoy the pleasure of playing music without being perfect.
In truth Jim's guitar playing is amazing and should probably be heard on it's own, but this is my page, so you have to listen to ME!
