Description
About my son and the rest is explained I guess. I did remember I had these oil canvases by my grandmother, Del Mar artist (dec.) Stella Hubbard which adorn this and my other humble (stress humble) offerings.

Lyrics
Don't You Know It; You're What I Want
When I was a kid I had a whole lot of dreams
And I knew just what I wanted
I had stars in my eyes, I had hope in my jeans
And I knew just what I wanted
But as the years piled higher the more I got lost
My jeans kept a fadin, my hope had a cost
I ran into trouble and my dreams got tossed
That ain't what I wanted
I got a truck drivin' job, it was a truck drivin' bore
That ain't what I wanted
I gave that up to run a retail store
Cause I thought maybe that's what I wanted
Then I got a bunch of jobs and not a lot of pay
Big stack of bills gettin' bigger each day
I wonder what I did with all the years I threw away
Well, I didn't do what I wanted
But what I didn't want to lose is you
You made every dream I ever had come true
Don't you know it, you're what I wanted
Don't you know, you're what I want
I been a little fish in some big, big ponds
And that ain't what I wanted
I had my heart broke in two by a couple of blonds
And that ain't what I wanted
Now every new month I'm a few dollars short
My ex-wife's attorney want to take me to court
I got no lawyer, I got no retort
This ain't what I wanted
This ain't what I wanted
This ain't what I wanted
But what I didn't want to lose is you
You made every dream I ever had come true
Don't you know it, you're what I wanted
Don't you know it, you're what I want
When I was a kid I had a whole lot of dreams
And I knew just what I wanted
I had stars in my eyes, I had hope in my jeans
And I knew just what I wanted
