Description

Sinfonia No. 2 Cminor for three parts BWV 788
The Inventions and Sinfonias, BWV 772-801, also known as the Two and Three Part Inventions, are a collection of thirty short keyboard compositions composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, consisting of fifteen inventions (two-part contrapuntal pieces) and fifteen sinfonias (three-part contrapuntal pieces). They were originally written by Bach as exercises for the musical education of his students.

Really enjoyed it!
I always enjoy your MIDI orchestrations of classics, both because of your creative sound choices and because they invite me to listen to old works with new ears. The sinfonias are favs of mine, not as often performed or as well-known as the inventions (2-part), but wonderful works all the same. I did a few MIDI versions of inventions and sinfonias myself many years ago; lots of fun.
