Description

Here is a song I started and just won't be able to finish for a while. The key is wrong for my voice and it just seems like it's lacking something - not sure what.

Its a good start so I figured I'd post it here under open collabs and see if anyone had anything to go with it. I'm packing up the house right now to move to North Carolina in a couple weeks so my time will be very limited for a while.

If anyone has any ideas or wants the original tracks let me know.

Nick,
Great song my friend. This reeks of change and turmoil, all the things that a move will bring on. The tones are crystal clear. The bass is super punchy--really enjoyed that bit. The over-ringing bell-like lead is a great touch, very Husker-Du. Quite an anthem. Hope someone with some pipes picks it up and takes a shot at it.

a real 'of the moment' sound, yet enough indosyncracies to make it fresh and interesting. stands well as an instrumental imo but i could def hear rsorenson singing this. great production too, really fills the phones. NC is a great state man, it's got a little of everything, good luck to you and your family with the move...

... I'm hearing something here ... I just might be in "tinkerville" ...... both Toto and I ..... this one just might prove to be an interesting experimentation in how all these different MJers are interpreting the music and what they add to it (vocal wise) or otherwise ....
