Here s ta y'all Andy King & The McBlues Band
The whole thing started of me sending a
rock blues session I recoded with Yamen
on bass ... its a track I usually played
with my old Band at our gigs as an intro
for BB King songs (slow blues ones) ....
but here Mr.Andy took it into a higher groove
with his great vocal which surprises me so
and sure the Sax is totally a blast .the track
been into many mixes I hope it sounds right now
vintage and all ...
I wish you all enjoy ..

there was this place
in dallas when i was a kid. downtown and played rock and roll ...served beer. we couldn't get in on a bet ...but we listened outside cos in summer the doors were always open. I am so there. Play it again boys!

You guys are in the groove! This sounds like a live performance. Andy, you are having way too much fun in MacJams. LOL I love it. Feter's screaming, wailing guitar says it all, and Yamen is solid on bass and drums. Whoever mixed this did a great job, too.

This
reminds me of a band called The Kingsmen who used to play in a pub at the end of my road when I was a kid, I used to go along and watch them through the window!
Really great song and a wonderful collab, this has a great live feel and your guitar tone and playing is superb Feter! A great vocal from Andy and your sax always sounds excellent!
The bass is top notch too and sounds really great on this song.
Yes I really love this, brought back some happy memories for me!

My comments largely echo those that have been made before: this track preserves a live, raw "smokey club" feel very well. No small feat, considering that it's a three way collab. There are a couple of spots where the recordings are pushing and pulling against one another - but in this setting, that just contributes to the live feel (as musicians typically do just that on stage).

Fun to hear Andy singing and ad-libbing as well! Thank you for sharing this.

I like the guitars...
...They have that cool '60s Beatles tone. The sax caught me off guard but I like it in there. Especially after having watched St. Elmo's Fire just last night. This is a rocker.
