In recent weeks .... I felt a little disgruntled with what had been happening at Macjams and the changes which I felt were going on .... which led me to a little "hiatus" ... and then along came an OLD Mjer (like myself) and his forum post (Sing My Song: http://www.macjams.com/forum/viewtopic.php?forum=6;showtopic=173054 by Chikoppi) and it reminded me of the old days ..... where Macjams was a place where we all posted our music .. the good with the bad .. the different, the eccentric ... whatever and it was all good and open to interpretation ..... what I was feeling of late ... was far too much EGO going on here ... people looking for recognition of "their precious" .... with little or NO collabs and individual expression being allowed ... it depressed me somewhat to feel stifled this way ... so I went on hiatus .... BUT Chikoppi's tune breathed new life into me ... and I expressed my dissatisfaction in this tune .... God Bless his little soul for being of the OLD MJ ilk and allowing us all to experiment on his tune and post what our interpretation of it is .... warts and all !!!!! (Disclaimer: I will ALWAYS totally LOVE and RESPECT DRAKONIS for EMBER and all its Emberifications ...... and Drak's EGOLESS respect for all MJERS for allowing us all to express our individuality on HIS original score ! WE LOVE YOU DRAKONIS !!!)... as for the rest of you "poopy-heads" out there ... I won't "name" you here ... but know this .... I AM CALLING YOU OUT ! (Oh yeah I chose to sing on the original Mastered version - even tho the lyrics are hard to pick out and headroom is slim - I liked the harder metal sound better ..... there is an unmastered version out there - check out Chikoppis page and sing your own version .. I for one would LOVE to hear it) !!!!
