Say Goodbye To Revolutions

Description
I'm still undecided as to what to make of the Iranian election; the subsequent disturbances and demonstrations in Tehran; the death of Neda Soltani; the video of her dying being seen by the world over through YouTube; then appropriation of her dying image and transforming it into a kind of icon around which the dissenters rallied; and then the quiet.
It seems really distant and strange, except the confronting nature of the image that remains.

But hey, at least it's something new from me instead of more bleedin' remixes and re-masters.

For Neda Soltani who got shot, by gun and then camera as she became the object of Death porn and then was co-opted into being a martyr for a cause she may or may not have believed in.

welcome Back Art
Glad to hear you posting something new.

It must be a bitter pill for those who loved this young woman to think she may have died in vane. But the video and now this and all the other things about her will surely come back to haunt the perpetrators of this unholy act.

Nice work Art,

Ed

Thank you gents
It's a confounding thing. I've come to a point in my life where I can't stomach news like this as much as before.

Say Hello to Perpetual Propaganda
I appreciate your relevance here as with other tunes... even astronaughty. It's enough to make me puke. Really. Things are difficult on both sides fo the continuum of human rights and finance, from the local, personal level up to the national and global arena. Is there REALLY hope for the planet? Say hello to devolution.

I'm wanting to hear some reverb on the vocal to bring it back closer the rest of the band.

I played in bands as a teen into my 20s. Then I went to Film School. Never stopped playing music through the years. Then, one day I found Sound Track in amongst my Final Cut Pro software and I started digitising and re-mastering old bits of recording... [see more]
