Wow
On the initial vocals I'd back them up in the mix and slowly bring them more forward... It would peak your interest I think... Maybe on the first few some extra reverb to sound real far out...

As it got on towards about 1:20 the vocal was a little too forefront... It was better at 1:38.

Ok in general this is so damn cool it is unbelievable... I would just tweak the vocal levels to keep it interesting... She seems to get loud in places... Try to keep her a little more even but add points of accent...

This is pretty amazing my friend!!! I can't wait to hear the finished product... The sound bed is amazing cool! Excellent work!

D a r n...
I have the worst case of typoid fever this morning... what I mean is lower the volume on the initial vocals, more reverb then bring them more forward slowly... hope that is clear!

Yep
I thought I noticed that too. I was concentrating so much on the second half that when I go back to the beginning my ears are tired I think. Thanks Mark, I'll look into it. Although all comments are wonderful, these are the kind of comments I really appreciate.

I'm happy about it
Possibly with the exception of the slightly abrupt ending, but I guess maybe it will be merging into the next song on the album? Mark may of course be right about the voice volume, it makes sense when reading it even if I wouldn't have thought of it myself...

Take care.

Indian Ocean
I love this Indian-flavored music, especially the female voice. Did you get Sheila Chandra to work on this? So, far be it from me to critique your work, but here goes anyway. I think Holbrook's suggestion makes sense. I would add this: if the vocal track is as loud as it is now, I would move it to the center, and make her the focal point. If you make the vocal quieter, as part of the background, it's fine where it is. And maybe a gentler ending. Just a thought. I think this is a great piece.
