Lyrics
Those long paths of childhood
Were sometimes spent on my own
While my heart was full of music
I never felt I was alone

So I thought they'd be proud
And that they'd all want to share
Because I remember there was once a time
When they always seemed to care

CHORUS
There was no response, no reply,
Not even a single lie
When I handed them my dreams to share
I have to ask them why
There was no response, no reply,
Not even a single lie
No word of support, no open arms,
And no questions why

With time we all grow and change
Yes I know that now
But where once we'd laughed together
It's like they'd forgotten how

Instrumental

My music has been my constant
A friend and my guide
A part of my life that didn't change
And that I never left behind
Repeat chorus

Thanks for listening
By the way, I don't recall using an organ voice. Perhaps it's a background layer created by my program unknowingly. Cheers.

I'm feelin' ya
not even a single lie.. I would beg for a, 'kiss my ass', even. Just remember that a prophet is never understood inside his own hometown. It's just our lot of life that we live. We get our gratification from those who understand how much work and love goes into our music. for people who love you, they still love you... it's just that in a push button world of radio and CD that they get instantly gratified in all the radio and TV production they care to have...
Melinna and Mike... It's music only our secret souls love as it is given freely we cannot expect much from those we love or we will only get disappointed. Even with that said, it would be great to hear,'wow, this is great stuff' even if it isn't heard on the radio... If it were, our family would say, my 'son/daughter is on the radio... 'not my 'son makes great music. ' and so it goes. I am a fan!
