Description

I wrote this song for my good bud Harold, who gifted me the keyboard that you hear on this song. I posted a minute and a half song and I was encouraged to expound on it... and so I did and placed it in open collaboration genre. Daugrin contributed his 3 great guitar parts. I did very little to his regions as he had done each pass on the first take. I let it stew for a few weeks to see if anyone else was going to throw down on it. So as a courtesy to my good friends I decided to let her out of her cage. The song is still open for collaboration and I hope to get more contributions soon... and so it goes.

Rocha and Awigze
I'm late here, the recluse, but Rocha and Awigza created an original track with tons of feeling and soul.
Notice how cliches were avoided on the piece? Artists, like these guys, create novel stuff! My hat is off to both of them. Great fellas to work with as well.
They were very kind in commenting about my work. Thank you both very much.
For my part: three passes, no retakes or dubs. I was done on my 4th listen with 30 minutes invested, tops. I heard my parts before I played them and merely responded. The subtle nature of the original track demanded what I played.
The reverb used is key. My solo is gibberish and off the tonal center without the chicks and smears tracks I made first. I hope this is helpful.
Maybe I will get invited for more parties like this...thanks again guys!
