Such nice textures
You use the coolest sound textures, Like a bad ass movie soundtrack. Nice work. The woman's voice is so ethereal. Like all of your stuff, very trippy. Very nice

You've done it again Andrew
Always such a good listen when you post one of these Deep Water tracks. Beautiful use of the vocals in this, especially the way you mixed them in with the backtracks.

Excellent,

Ed

Fabulous mix
Very cool sounds. Insistent bass, wonderful dreamy pads and I just love the little repeated arpeggio. All put together really well. Great job.

i love it when that happens to YOU! This is gorgeous. Deep and spacious, but there is a sense of the weight off all that water. Incredible.

Fantastic!
This is wonderful. I'm guessing you got a singer to add the vocals? They are wonderful. Definitely film scoring material, and while sparse, there's a beauty to this.

And yep, I love it when that happens too. :)

I wish
I could have this Lady sing on my work all the time but... she is a collection of vocal samples.

Thanks for listening and commenting.

Deep indeed
I really like the haunted grinding intro. The vocals were an unexpected yet enjoyable surprise. I'm loving all the space between all the sounds. I'm actually wishing that the song was bit longer as it feels incomplete, like it hasn't quite finished exploring the themes that have been presented.

To delight!
This would be a nice soundtrack to the book I'm reading, Le Clézio's Le chercheur d'or (The Prospector), set mostly in the Indian Ocean, Mauritius and Rodrigues - very much maritime. I am not THAT fond of the book (he is no story teller!), but I sure like this music! A bit abrupt ending of course, but I guess I can forgive that on a little side project like this ;-)

Take care.

sonar
the echoey sounds make me think of sonar blips - excellent

the vocals are haunting and beautiful - they fit the mood of the backing bed perfectly

thanks

interesting how sometimes the best time to create is when you're supposed to be doing other things
