Description
This is my Loop It Or Lose It 9 entry. I know it's early, but I think I'll be busy during the post dates, so I'm posting sooner rather than later. My song starts out as traditional ethnic, but then goes through some more modern phrases. Enjoy!

So cool...
I thought my player was messing up with the trilled notes at first... Then I got it... Very cool.

Very interesting
use of the loop. Sounds of the world on steroids, with a little Dance rhythm going on in the background.

Great job dissecting that nasty loop and reinventing it with some redeemable qualities.

Very cool,

Ed

Very cool
Really like the ethnic vibe, and love how you have put in a trill into the metal instrument at the begining. I like how it gets more modern esp with the computer sounds. Well composed, and kept interesting with all the changes, well done.

I'm glad you like it!
My songs seem to get the most attention when they're part of Loop It Or Lose It or some other contest. That's nice, but I'd like those that listen to this to check out some of my other songs as well. That way, you'll hear a wider variety of my artistry. Thanks!

Pure
The beginning built around the loop and nuthin but the loop. Very nice interpretation. Then the different instrumental phases. Its just a whole collage of songs.
Nice,
Stephen

LOVE
the trills. Such an authentic ethnic feel. Then it makes the seemels modern transition. Though I'd have to say the ethnic return at the end is my favorite. Great mix of sounds.

When U Can Snatch The Loop From My Hand
It will be time for you to leave, grasshopper. Where? To the Lioli Hall Of Fame, dude. This is amazing. love the ethnic touches, and the smooth transitions from one mood to another are sweet. Great ending. Great entry.

all over the map
ah, well worth the wait... excellent

i like the jazz-oriental fusion - it works nicely - the transition into electronica/dance snuck up on me - cool - and then we're into an almost acid-jazz kinda groove - then free-form guitar? - a little dirty funk - then space funk - nice final reprise - wow! all over the map this

i really dig this arrangement.

thanks

subtle use of the soundstage
I like the variations on the theme and the way you have used the soundstage here with great placement of the sounds in the space.

Really like the build too and the easy jazz feel that all of a sudden is just there.

From ancient to modern, and back again.
I really like how you used the ethnic instruments for the loop. And wow! What a shock when the modern stuff comes in!

Totally love the part around 5:15. And coming back to the loop at the end with the ethnic instruments, made me smile. :) Great percussion.
