In the middle of a drunken crowd and miles away from home,
Reaching into my right pants pocket and crushed beside my phone
I pull out a tattered box, a victim of spillage and thoughtless knocks.
And there's still a ciggy left inside.

So carefully I pull the stick and I see the problem.
There's a rip right through the bastard - it's a useless item.
A broken cigarette is my karma. Oh.
I push it down to fix the rip, I use my spit now it's all in bits.
My Rizzlas are wet and I can't use the strip that sticks.

And now out of the light
A friend comes to make it right
But the Marlboro's height
Is only a couple of centimetres.
