Description

this song came about pretty darn fast. I recorded the guitars and bass Friday evening. Added midi drums, wrote lyrics and added vocals Saturday afternoon. I wanted to get a quick take and not spend a lot of time on this. Mixing wise, it was a few minor level adjustments.

My spanish is rusty.......... so, I'm claiming artistic license.

okay, so right now I have insomnia and I'm running down the song posts. clicked on this one and saw the tag "punk." didn't see your name, but thought "that looks like vic artwork." then as the gtr came in and started to pan to the left, I thought: "spunds like vics gtr." then you started singing and I got around to realizing: "it's vic." dude this is a great glam stomper, love that chorus, and your production chops are not suffering from the lack of time you put into it at all. i too just posted a "punk" number. great track Vic (yours, not mine).

I hear a lot of different influences in this tune. The beginning reminds me of a Scorpians song from many years back called the zoo, which also used that super heavy chunky in stereo guitar rhythm, which was cool then, and is really cool right here and now. The anthem-like beat moves the song along very well, helping to make the tune really fun to listen to. What I don't get is how you can turn such quality work out so fast! It takes me at least a month to get anything done, and here you are in a few days - whew! Very nice job - thanks for the share.
