As with Aether.... ...you have a deceptive simplicity at work in your stuff, Carl... Simple, until you listen deeply... Then you realize how much is going on and how artful it is... This has neat energy and propulsion and a nice constellation of synth textures... I've said before that I appreciate artists who can get depth out of synths, so that they don't sound 'flat' or two dimensional, and you definitely get that going here... As with a number of your tunes, I relate to the structure as a songwriter and I start hearing the beginnings of lyrics or vocals in it... Very vocal-friendly phrasing, as well as dance-friendly...
