Finger Pickin' Blues

Description
I was rained out today, so I had some time to mess around.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS.

Don't let the title fool ya, This started out as an all guitar idea when I began, but I ended up experimenting with the piano and thought it sounded a little like Jerry Lee Lewis, so I figured I'd keep it for now and post it for fun (something I never do! lol!). Also, the solo is just basically a couple of runs I threw on without much thought. I haven't had much time to practice on a daily schedule, so I will redo them later. Just wanted it to be there to get all the parts where they belong.

About the sax and harmonica, I used loops. So those parts are repeated a few times and I think one of the sax parts sounds like Kenny G, so be kind! lol! Maybe in the future I can find some MJer's that would want to throw down some tracks. Until then, your stuck with this.

I was going to title it "Great Fists Of Fury", because thats really basically how I play the piano (lol!), but I figured every one would end up figuring that out on there own.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my mad scientist experiment and feel free to comment on any aspect if you like.

BTW; It's a headphone mix.

TTYAS.

Chris

Thanks Karen.
That means a lot coming from you. I never took a lesson, but always tinkered on one when I could.

Since I bought my M-Audio Keystation, I've been messin' more with it. I think I just got lucky this time. LOL!

Thanks again Karen, glad you enjoyed it.

Very nice
The only suggestion (and I would take this with a grain of salt) is to turn the bass guitar up some. Very nice otherwise. Thanks for the post

I wish I could do stuff like this with a computer, it would be nice to fill in like that where I lack. Of course, I wish I could bang a piano like that too... --Jealous

Nice noodles!
Way to kick back -- lots of fun noodling on keys, horn and of course guitar. I'm laughing with you on the Jerry Lee thing; Last weekend I wanted to plug in and had no agenda so I fell back on the long-lost boogie-based rock. Where'd that go, anyway?

I'll meet you down at the corner bar for a jam one night. Virtually, at least.
