Description
Sorry folks, could only find a cassette version of this, hence more hissing than at Cleopatra's demise. The original's somewhere in Germany, collecting mothballs. That having been said, it's still one of my favourites and although the lyrics now have a less bleak outlook than this version, I really love the mood of it. Imagine yourself in an age ( not far from now) when we go into space for years, not months and try to explain how it feels when we get home, probably to a generation we've never met.

Luckily I have no twin brothers...
so I'll never have to explain our age difference to him :-) Nice mellow tune, has an almost Al Stewart sound in the beginning, but it opens up in the middle there. Pretty nice recording, considering the tape... and a magnificent song, great singing as usual... glad you kept the tape and extracted it to share.
ttfn,
Drakonis

EDUARD
Happy to hear from you and hope you're well. Thanks for the nice words and I can't seem to get a good filter system, that keeps the treble. I guess I'll just have to go to Germany!

I ...
... don't mind some hiss and stuff like that as long as i is good music .. and this is! I like the verse part a lot, your voice works so well there. Really pro.

I would personally have avoided New age as a genre since that concept has so many connotations that I feel that your song actually is free from.

AGREED, Johannes
But what category would you put it under? I absolutely detest categories as a matter of principal, anyway. LOL
