	multi-layering I like the way you offset the loops to create a rhythm,,, and the spoken word and the acoustic thrown in, I like the sentiment of this and when it kicks into the backbeat at 2:15 it really says to me - hey, life keeps going, get on or get off.... nice entry, dub! 	. i used the offsets to mimic the two layers of echo present in the loop. but i also spread them out using some panning (some actually move during the intro). when it finally kicks into the main beat it's sort of an echo of the guy's memory of dancing so many years ago. thanks for listening and for the thoughtful comments Check out my latest song called One For Me

and hear this again. Ive listened to it about five times now and I keep discovering intriquing, haunting textures that underscore the extraordinarily poignant pull of the piece.

Most of the demented geniuses have gone off in crazy directions with this, but your demented genius made me want to go sit on the front porch, drink a cold beer in the rain and curse all the missed moments that could have been.
