Description
A two chord exploration of the Omnisphere Libraries. Done while trying to put together a template for film scoring. Omnishpere is a great set of libraries and a wonderful tool for sampling, synthing, arpegiating, just plain fun in finding just the right sound for your production.

Perfect
title works well and sounds like it could come from some updated version of those old westerns. I like the handclap rhythms and the haunting theme. Best of all the soundstage which has just the right lush feel.

The lushness is Omnisphere. I listen to Films now, as much as I watch them and I hear the Spectraphonics Libraries all over the place. They are the "must have" for creative film scoring. Thanks for the listen.

I really had a lot of fun with the guitar sounds. They really formed the idea for the theme. Then I filled in with some atmosphere.
Thanks,
Stephen

That is a complement indeed! I have not seen the movie yet, but have seen the trailers. As for Floyd . . . amazingly, I was not a real Pink Floyd fan. Its not that I don't like them, just that I haven't listened so much. I can't even think of why except that I had so much of everything to listen to and just didn't ever really get to listen to them. But boy am I appreciative of the compliments.
Thanks,
Stephen

Amazing what you can do alternating between 2 chords... nice slowly paced, very well placed synths and washes, sweetly aching guitar touch. Great open mix.

Thanks. I find the sound fields inside these libraries are incredible spatially. They make even the simple sound great. They are also great fun to use. Sort of like ear candy.

Some cool synth
I just made a tour on Spectatronic's web site, including several videos, and I'm blown away. Knowing what happens to me when I get countless possibilites at my fingertips, I'll try to stay away for awhile, though...
Last night The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was shown on TV here in Sweden (too late at night for me, but I've seen it before) so the artwork above was fun to see here today. That film score is to die for, at least for its time. Your modern version is really sweet as well, if maybe a bit too polished for a good old western?! A very cool piece nonetheless. Thanks for sharing!

thanks a lot for the listen and the comments. It is a bit pricey, but I find between that and IK Multimedia Sampletank, and the built in Logic and Garageband stuff, I have it all. The only weakness is drums, but there Ultrabeat in Logic is no slouch and I joined Ryan Gruss' site. He provides full logic sessions of live drums as well as AIF and WAV and REX. Very impressive.

Rox,
Thanks again. Sorry I am so late here. Omnisphere is a really great set of libraries and software instruments that just really give you some amazing tools. I hear their stuff in a lot of movie soundtracks and as effects in movies.
