Description
As Ike and Tina said: "Here we go loop-de-loop!"
This is my virgin voyage in to the world of LIOLI. (ie, "Love it or Leave it", "Lick it or Lump it" or whatever the hell this thing is called.) Anywho, it was actually pretty fun.
I started Friday just after midnight and finished today, Sunday night. I decided from the get-go that I would use the required loop "as is" and simply build around it. I also wanted a short song (so that I wouldn't work on it forever) but I definitely wanted my song to have lyrics even though that is the element of the entire process I tend to labor over the longest. Nevertheless, after one false start of an idea (that I quickly jettisoned), I stumbled upon a loop that matched the required loop perfectly and I was off to the races. So other than some precision cutting and pasting, this bad-boy is all loops "as is." The only parts that are original are the vocals.
