Hilarious break at :55. Very cool sounds evoking thoughts of children playing, with an omnipresent sense of progression and inexorable movement ahead. Adelantando as they say (in Spain... I guess). I can only assume you were able to use some waveforms of youth making sounds and tweak them. Very cool and reminiscent in a weird kind of way of "Ya-Yo Gakk" -- a song on "Alien Love Secrets" by Steve Vai where he used a snippet of sound (or few, actually) from his son to create the framework of his song. It's very cool you should hear it! Here is a url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6JYXiXio74. I always thought that song was pretty cool. Thanks SmokeyVW.

this is a recording of my grandson and his sister - showing off - at my behest - minimally cut up, actually

Strangely
hypnotic and the repetitive music loop sounds really nice with the bass and all the kids voices fitting in so well.... it's just such a nice sound even through the boisterous part.... as well as mysterious......always ever inventive and maybe that's the Genre 'Inventive', cheers M

How about "World" for a genre
After all they are the world of the future, Bill. Progress only goes in one direction, the way the kids want it to.

Very cool piece my friend.

great editing Bill - the bass holds a cool beat against the faster bits and the whole piece has a wonderful energy.

I have heard the future
and it sounds like a swarm of approaching locusts: let's hope they don't devour everything in their path. Cool track, Bill.

Eclectic, at best. I learned some music theory at school, and read a ton about it since. I've listened to lots of music over the years. I once played guitar in an actual garage band and actually got paid to play! Once. Although live performance is an... [see more]
