east meets west Cool use of sounds and I love that guitar riffs. Is it samples or you playing? Either way it's a killer. Would maybe have liked a banging fuller rhythm to come in a half way through but that's just me. Great track Enjoyed cheers Check out my latest song called Dr.Thunderball-Bond theme challenge

Hi Bee Boy! Thanks for the comments. It's all me playing - the only samples are the vocals from soundsnap. Good idea about the rhythm. I may have a play with that, it would defo lift the second section more. Cheers. Check out my latest song called Hum

Hi Feter Yes, the mix of arabic music and rock came by accident - the tune was originally going to be a blues song, but then I played the synth over the top and this appeared... Check out my latest song called Hum

in answer to your question, living in Japan is confusing, often uncomfortable and a hell of a lot of fun. anyway. i like this tune - got a seedy mid eastern edge to it. the guitar is inspired and love the aaa-aaa-aaa vox. sample? drums could be turned up for my taste, but i like it banging. very nice work Check out my latest song called sweet potatoes

sounds interesting I imagine Japan to be a very confusing place for the non Japanese. Thanks for the comments - the vox is a sample from soundsnap.com and it just fitting in nicely with the chord structure and tempo. Very lucky!! Check out my latest song called Hum

Crunch When the guitar comes in it just crunches at the edge of the dance beat, Its like a middle eastern dance party in Turkey. Have you ever listened to the Midnight express album, This reminds me of that . Excellent mix BTW I enjoyed! Check out my latest song called when its love

hardsynth bellyclub Excellent Middle-eastern-meets-80s-synth-meets-stinging-guitar-in-the-club thing... and it all works! Very fun... I agree that the club-like thumping could be boosted a bit for that genre (although I prefer it more subdued like this... you could instead add some hall-reverb to just the thumpy beat to give it more oomph instead, maybe.) Cool stuff! Well written/played/mixed! ttfn, Drakonis Check out my latest song called Lullaby for the Inner Child

Hi Drak Thanks for the listen! I wasn't intending to produce this sound at all when I started - it just sort of evolved. I may add a bet of reverb just to see what effect it has. I don't want the drum beat to swamp the other sounds though. Cheers! Check out my latest song called Hum

Juxtin' How did I miss this? It must have been a heavy email day when I got the notification you posted this. What a blend! Are there some Persian bloodlines running through Wales? The way the guitar (with it's awesome "gettin' down to business" tone) kicks in behind the synths is great! Check out my latest song called First of Fall - Slide

Nice - this works great. I felt like I left the country there for a few minutes. Love the graphic as well. People do not comment too much about the graphics but they are a huge part of this site.
