Veni, Veni, Emmanuel - Chant/Modal Harmonies

Here is another acappella recording I just finished recently. i did this a little differently than most of my vocal things - I didn't use a click track or even a starting note! I just started singing and this is what came of it. I originally intended this to be a straight chant, but by the time I got done with three verses, it was begging for harmony. So I improvised a deep bass part below on the second refrain and third verse, and a high sort of modal harmony on the third verse. I think the high part really adds a different kind of feeling to this well-known melody - it sounds quite Mediaeval to me.
