raf Maybe they call it Raf where you live? It seems the riqq is sometimes called Daf, but that name is also used for frame drums without jingles. And a dumbek is sometimes called darbuka or tabla.... Thanks for listening. Check out my latest song called Desert Stars

Sampling The idea has occurred to me. I guess the main problem is that I don't know how to incorporate those quick rolls. You can not cut them up into pieces, so you'd have to include them as one sample, but they are synced to the speed of the music. I've made EXS sample sets before, but I'm not sure if that's possible.
