It's like a badge of honor, beating Feter to the punch. Now bout the music. I love the way it begins and then builds. Those strings that come in hard at about 90 secs are awesome, Bill. Then the mystery starts very dramatic. Love the Piano in here. this is a great piece Bill. Kudos to you for this one my friend This would be an excellent soundtrack in a movie. Pillary Post Brilliant journey! You are my hero. When I grow up I will figure out how you do these things. The section with the oblique root movement really shines. The lopping string line humanizes the proceedings. That touch with the "hoof beats" is a reminder that attention to little details is what makes things cool. Thanks for sharing Mr. Bill. huh? "oblique root movement" - is that where i'm changing the chords, but by only changing one note each time? that sort of thing is fun to do. glad you enjoyed the flogging whilst upon the pillary post thanks Check out my latest song called One For Me

7 pillars of wisdom could be the film to score?! Not very Arabic, though, but full of suspense and drama. A great little composition. Well made. /Henke Check out my latest song called Heading for Alpha Centauri (mj space race 2009)

Shades of Respighi's 'Fountains of Rome' which depicts the ages through Rome's history (which you probably know anyway) though this has a more European sound; slightly ominous, but lovely use of the orchestral instruments. You are so attuned to sounds and their effect on the senses. Wonderful work, cheers M Check out my latest song called Come Back Billie

Nice picture. A soundscape with a gravity to it. Grabbed my attention and held it with all the interesting bits and surprise, including that piano and those horns. Yes, indeed: traveling through time. Thanks. Check out my latest song called The Conqueror Worm

Ed... All that talk about beating Feter to the punch and he didn't even post... sigh... Another cool Bill construction here... By the way it seems like the third pillar over from the right is leaning to the left... musically that is! Nicely done! Check out my latest song called Never Say Goodbye - Bond Challenge
