Spectacular
Haunting and beautiful… Spectacular playing of spectacular music! I like the way you thwart predictability… There are progressions that sound a bit like ones I've heard before, but always with unexpected twists… Parts of it remind me of some of Leo Brouwer's studies, but it's definitely your own original voice that shines through. Wow! THis is substantial!!!! This is first rate music. I do not exaggerate… I am truly impressed. Congratulations!

Bob this is magnificent..... I'm just so stuck for words except to say that I sat in awe at the versatility of this piece and the wonder at the way your fingers pick the high strings while the bass notes are being played in a sort of counter melody.... just beautiful.... and the build up to the one note at 3.33 was terrific. Something Very Special
Bob, I think this is some of (if the THE) best work I have heard from you. The direction of the piece is so absolutely clear and the security of each time change and those luscious chords that seem to just float seamlessly give the listener a sense of being in the presence of a musician who is in full control of his instrument and the poetic images that are propelling the composition. This is truly outstanding in every way. Bravo. I hope you will write more pieces that are so filled with style and polish. Just wonderful.

Nice Spanish guitar sound...
Very pretty melodies in this long yet satisfying piece.

First part put me somewhat in mind of King Crimson's "Lady Of The Dancing Water" (Lizard album); but then it takes OFF!!!

Wowee Bob. This is the first acoustic piece I've heard at MJ that seriously competes with some of thetiler's best work.

	Hi Micheal You know I love King Crimson. The poem was, originally, supposed to be spoken, split within the beginning and end of the piece. I decided to keep it an instrumental, so I wrote the melody line, in both parts, with the same meter. Check out my latest song called Outside the Corral

	Hi... The lyrics are actually a poem. I was thinking of singing it...as it's got the same cadence and meter as the beginning and ending of the piece. Was going to split it between the two parts. Hi Bob
Great varity in this one. I was kept guessing where it would go next. I was fooled by a harmonic at one point which I thought signalled the end. It was in fact the start of that wonderful Bach-like section.
Great playing and excellent capturing of the Martin's tone. The balance across the strings is perfect. Sorry - too busy listen to read the poem just yet!
