Description
I just recording it today. Composed it yesterday and today. I used Garagband. I have not used it much but it does seem user friendly alright. I had a little problem with feed back but turned off the monitor and that helped alot.

The tile work in the picture is a little rustic and I think that the guitar instrumental conveys that country rustic feeling as well.

It is played on an acoustic Takamine using a brass slide with fingerpicking.

Reminiscient...
Nice stuff. I heard a bit of John Fahey or Norman Blake in this, but then when I saw it is Open C, I began to hear a bit more Hawaiin Slack Key like Cyril Pahinui in it.

To: Jim

To tell you the truth, I have not listened to much of any of them. But I'm sure
they would be very interesting to hear. I have heard of John Fahey. I'll have to
do a search on Itunes to see if they are there.

Thanks so much for responding!

Oh Yeah!
Awesome picking and wonderful melody. Your
playing is clean, crisp and confident. Excellent slide
work, too. You bring back recent memories of Leo
Kottke in concert.

Scorpjammer,

Thanks Scorpjammer for taking the time in stopping by. I just have another
one that is also in open C tuning that should be available shortly. It is much
faster and is somewhat different in structure but there is some similarities.

Leo is an interesting guy , he said one time when he did a rendition of little
Martha by Duane Allman of the Allman Brother Band that Duane Allman would
get these dreams of music at night and play it the nevt day. I like the way he
thinks!

His brother Gregg sure was troubled by his brother passing away. He pulled
up one day in front of my house when he was dating my tenant and he said
that he grieves every day for his brother. He has some issues he has do deal
with especially when his father died so early in his life.

Sorry for the rant.

glad you're using GB
Very good recording quality on this first GB recording!

This tune reminds me of your other submission "Noogle",
except this one is a bit slower.

Both very good tunes, well-performed as usual.

I like it.
Lotta nice things happening in this piece. Catchy, simple
tune. And the "hollow" sound adds to the color. Keep up
the good work.
