They come at night
This is spooky. Loved the airplane sound. The "Sting" theme song I assume is the melted ice cream truck.

When I was a kid I used to hang out in a cemetery called St Mikes in jackson heights queens NY, Scott joplin is buried there. I used to smoke weed on top of his grave. This brought me back ! thanks!

Whoa!
the airplane sounds exactly like those that flew out of the several bases I lived on. My ice cream truck does not play the entertainer. Cute picture. Enjoyed it, Bill. I love cricket noises. Thanks.

.
this song was entirely serendipitic - it was a single take - the only editing i ended up doing was choosing the start and end points out of a 20 or so minute recording out my window. i started recording when i heard the ice cream truck way off in the distance.

after i had tried reassembling the order of the sounds, doing EQ and other things - i eventually tossed all that out and left the recording raw - as it was - that was the best

all the sounds just seemed to sequence themselves nicely. this sort of thing is what makes me wonder if there are greater forces at work in the arts - Muses perhaps?

thanks

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...
in the Twilight Zone, where reality has melted away to nothingness. Chilling, unlike that plastic ice cream.

At the mention
of Joplin I got all excited... I don't hear much piano done his way any more... I'm still waiting for it... I gots airplanes and golfers hitting balls... It must be the heat... It sure melted the thing in the picture.

Ok I hear Scott coming now... calliope in hand I guess! Very cooL!

Eclectic, at best. I learned some music theory at school, and read a ton about it since. I've listened to lots of music over the years. I once played guitar in an actual garage band and actually got paid to play! Once. Although live performance is an... [see more]
