Lyrics
Sitting here wishing
That I hadn't said a thing
My life is so tormenting
unhappiness it does bring
Sipping on red wine
Thinking you're so fine
Had I taken more time
I'd be calling you mine
I thought things were right
could have been on the next flight
But Like a thief in the night
you've gone out of my sight
Wanting you to know me
I had hoped that you'd see
But with talk of old memory
I've caused you to flee
You would make my heart sing
And You'd make my life shine
If you'd say things were alright
If you'd only come back to me
I thought things were right
could have been on the next flight
But Like a thief in the night
you've gone out of my sight
Wanting you to know me
I had hoped that you'd see
But with talk of old memory
I've caused you to flee

Very nicely arranged, written and sung. I thought the jazzy solo in the middle was a teeny bit too fast paced, because I was really liking the harmonies there and it zoomed by. Nice lyrics, great guitar work too. The sax at the end was tasty too, what a cool thing to find in a "box"! :-)
