Description
Like the tentacles of an octopus, circumstances in life tend to sometimes wrap it’s ugly arms around us, leaving us with a feeling that it will never let go - pulling and grabbing from so many different directions that we can’t even see straight. And in the process, nearly blinding us to what’s been right in front of us the whole time. It can be beautiful and vicious all the same.

Anyway, enough about meaning – I’ve been sitting on this one for a little while and would be most appreciative of any critiques and feedback. Thanks so much!! All loops, btw - twisted up, arranged, and rearranged...into this.

Structured confusion
Why, thank you sir. It makes sense, yes. More bass all around? You can never have too much bass in your life, right? Ok, well maybe you can. hehe. But seriously, I'll try adding more in for a deeper reflection. Thank you so much Feter.

urban hydra
the music pulls in many directions. it is subtle, but relentless. it seems soft, however it is strong. it slowly pulls me in. it is skillfully entangled music.

it is good to hear more tracyvosh. there is hope that you successfully subdue each head of the hydra. 0x0

Oh my
this has a catchy vibe, liking that changing of percussion. A nice trip hop feeling all the way. Cool song, it has been a while since you posted a tune, worth the wait.

Very nice
Some lovely subtle grooves in here - and some strange chord changes in the middle section, which work very well. This is odd and haunting music - but laced with maturity. Glad to hear you are still making it :-))

Odd and haunting
I seem to be drawn to these types of sounds lately. Maybe it's the ghouls that visit me in my sleep at night. lol! Thank you for your awesome feedback Phil!

Quite a complex
arrangement of loops for this one. The only suggestion I would have is to put a solo instrument over the top of this song. That would really give a stamp of distinctiveness. Not sure if you play an instrument, even if you dont, there are lots of talented musicians on here that could lay something on this. Good job. BTW, i agree with Feter that more bass could add some heft to this production.

Hi!
Thank you Crisew, so much. Unfortunately, I do not play an instrument, as of yet. I'm trying to imagine what would sound good on top of this - it would be extremely interesting to hear what someone might do with it. Now you have me curious! Thanks again for your comments and being a fan of Octopus...

Normally not a fan of this genre, but this is really fun. Kind of reminds me of how someone in the 50's would have imagined the technological confusion of the new millennia.

Very cool
Nice groove, interesting textures. I like it like it is. You hit the nail on the head with "Cinematic Soundtrack". This is very good mood music for a suspense/thiller. As far as the mix is concerned. I personally like where it is. It is one of those pieces that leaves enough space that it gets your imagination going in twelve different directions so you are likely to get lots of different opinions.

Nice job.

This has a great vibe. It has that mysterious feel with a hint of upbeatness. I like it. Great mix and groove. Bowie would be great on this.
