Pinkopation

Description
The title is a combination of Pink Floyd and syncopation. Someone once told me that the verse sounded like Pink Floyd (I don't agree) and the ending is a Meshuggah influenced syncopated rhythm so I just combined the two. It has some really crazy time changes in the beginning, but it has a nice melody so it's not too hectic. Once I get some mics and other recording gear I'm going to add some solos to the verse section after the intro.

If you haven't got the gear
you can always ask someone on MacJams to fill the gap for you! This place is a lot about collaboration on songs. If you use Garageband there will be plenty of people that might want to add to a good composition like this. You could ask for a collab in the forum perhaps... (Unfortunately I am not the one - busy doing a piece for the space challenge going on.)

I'm a college student at UW-Whitewater. Ironically, I'm an English major and yet all my music is instrumental. I write everything on guitar and since I don't have any recording software MIDI plays everything for me. I write all the drums and throw in... [see more]
