So Interesting
Brilliant mix, super clear. I love how there are hints of jazzy chord progression slipped into the canvas. Reminds me of BT's album "This Binary Universe". Totally on par with that kind of experimenting. NIce Nice Nice!

very cool
i love this, more psycho-acoustic than ambient to me, but hey: that's a good thing. this is fabulous. such a wonderful use of many elements. i love how it feels like you're about to set up a beat, and then it backs away. very nice.

Epic
But tiny. Man all the opinions in the world will only lead back to what you know as the truth of this piece. I love it it reminds me of a favorite band of mine called Mr. Bungle.

Haha, sweet...
Mr. Bungle is one of my favourite groups! I don't see the connection really, myself, but it's nice to be compared to a master :P

Backwards sounds I think
Sounds very cool especially love the ominous notes played backward. Has a real evil sound to it. Great use of panning effects too. Enjoyed it. Great job.
crissew said 54 days ago (September 28th, 2009)
By the way
It almost sounds like you are yelling through a dryer vent hose for the low pitched sound effect, what was it?
shavingronaldscar said 54 days ago (September 28th, 2009)
hrm...
I have no idea what sound that might have been. I certainly didn't yell through a dryer vent hose haha...

the magical musical brain of the Shaver comes to call! i don't know about the dryer hose theory, but there sure are some cool sounds in here. Love the back-ass-wards stuff - very cool effects. there's nobody like you shaver! nice work!

Backwards meets Forwards
Nice groove, excellent production from that precision oriented central processor.
I am hearing vocals beyond the suggestions presented, a young woman pouting about her frustrations. Just a thought...
The growth in your work impresses me, every post just pulls the bar up higher...
You need to go commercial.
