Description
This song has been brewing for a while. Since I recently got a new Mac I have going back and finishing some tracks that my old G4 couldn't handle.
Some of my older songs sound cinematic in nature but this one takes the cake. It has a dark brooding cadence complete with a short drum break. It's not a happy song and might make you feel sort of desolate or alone.
Compositionally this song started out with the drum pattern and grew from there. I'm not sure why I chose the title 'Mad Man' or why I picked a picture of Einstein but in some ways I thought it was fitting.
Anyway, this song is dedicated to crazy geniuses whose academic work is at first scoffed at but later realized as the real deal. It must be maddening to know your right when others bring you down. Here's to Mad Men everywhere.

my upright piano. Great tone. The machine gun drum hits are quite mad. You really captured t he feeling of dejected madness. It would be infuriating to have the answer only to have people not believe you. Makes me think of scientists who work with stem cells, only to have funding pulled by people freaked out by it. Think of what we could have accomplished by now.
