Description

The story of Dracula ... from Stoker's book to the many movie adaptations has always fascinated and honestly made me shiver. The characters of Lucy (in her youth and beautiful) and R.M. Renfield (59 and quiet insane) represent true "horror" to me. Such different people but still waiting ..... "it's coming"

Many thanks to Char for her contribution of the "dialogue". So.... relax and take a stroll through R.M. Renfield's world.

Not Turning Off The Lights
....... tonight or anytime soon. This is creepy par extreme, that fly... washing the layers of sonic eeriness over what, in some other dimension might have been a mellow, cheerful Reggae beat, is something I couldn't have imagined working, but it works entirely too well.

This is scary stuff.

Char's acting is also uncannily real: going beyond the 'girl afraid' shtick to touching something real and afraid within us. Within me.

No sleeping tonight.

Not because I like this sort of thing, but because you two, Char & Jack, created an exceedingly deeply disturbing place... perfectly balanced between vivid real sounds and un-heard unreal thoughts of sounds. Exceptionally wonky music, perfect for the effects, awesome fly buzzing through my brain... jeesh! Blech! I need to take a shower now.

What do you mean
Renfield is insane ? ...I have always found him to be singular and very effective role model...well....apart from his little insect foible.That is a bit creepy,well a bit creepy crawly really.And so is this, very atmospheric
and sinister..Char obviously had a great time....or perhaps not. a great piece of musical viualisation ,you get the sense of a chase and whipping branches being snagged in great panic,great job .Both of you.
