Description
a little dig at this mind expanding programe, - written in [2009] - a sort of classical come Baroque type of piece which is not meant to be taken too seriously.lots and lots of vocal multi tracking on this.

Absolutely brilliant
and amazing harmonies John. Caught most of the lyrics but would have been nice to read them.
I can't resist watching it, I fall for all that manufactured sentimentality.
Can't think of anyone else who could possibly think of doing a song about x factor in Baroque style - genius.
Cheers
Len

hello Len
Thank you for your comments. Like I said to Feter, the quality suffered a bit due to the overall vocal range, all the parts which I had to do myself. I will post the lyrics sometime as soon as I've typed them out only it was late last night and past my bedtime. It really was a very time consuming joke which I'd more than had enough of by the time I'd finished.

John,

Let us pray
Loved it. Backing is excellent and the vocal has a real feel of a church choir.

Splendid inventiveness, great lyrics and well performed.

Cheers

Dick

Wait!?
Am I listening to Woofer!? Where is the classic boogie feel? Hum... Well still your vocals are perfect John! (Just teasing about the boogie woofer feel but I'd crack up if suddenly it came in, in the middle of this!)

Nicely done again!!! Where are you finding the time for all this great stuff?

wot ! - no boogie woogie ?
no place for this music of the devil here. thanx Mark, much work went into the harmonizing of this piece with the strict observation of the forbidden movements of parts which have been handed down over the centuries. Things like -no parallel fifths or octaves and all that jazz. While researching this I found out that Bach always harmonized from the end of a work and worked back to the beginning. I found this to be much much easier when I did this myself.

the inspiration
came from something I heard many years ago when I heard the rules of cricket put to an Anglican chant. Vey funny indeed. The potential in this area is limitless - you can do anything with it.

Thanks for listening and the comment.
