Macjams meet the new dynamic duo. Chris Kear and Breanna teamed up to write a song like this within an hour. This is their first raw recording in studio format, live. Any feedback and ideas for instruments to be added would be much appreciated!

I like the way you each sing. Catchy lyrics also but I think that the piano has a bit too much echo or something in comparison to the guitar. Have you tried recording it with the guitar only like you did near the end? I think that may sound better, but hey, only a thought. You sing well together and kudos for writing this in an hour. Best of luck to both of you in your future endeavors.

Another great performance! Your voice is so wonderful, Breanna. It's so refreshing to hear a voice that good that isn't saturated in pitch correction. Chris, great performance as well... you both mesh very well together.

Excellent lyrics.

I hear quite a bit of noise in the background.. not sure what mics you all are using, but if you had a gate (either software, or preferably hardware) it would cut out some of the background noise, and make your vocals pop even more. Also, there is a bit of imbalance with the piano and guitar. Piano is recording from a live acoustic piano, right? Not sure where your placing the mic, but it's a little "reverby".

What amazes me about your music, is that it sounds so listenable even though it is live and not "studio polished". That means that your timing and pitch is impeccable. Keep up the great work. I'm a fan.

Amazing! Really nice songwriting, and great singing by both of you. Rather nice mix too... the guitar is great here... the only suggestion is the piano... it sounds like that is a mic-recording of a real piano? Those are VERY hard to record well. But it is a little weak in the mix, I would boost it a little, maybe put the mic a little closer to it so you get less room echo (that is the muddy echo that Gail is talking about.)

A beautiful song
Love the vocals and harmonies... I think this is an acoustic piano directly miced... I'm not fond of the way it was miced... it is as Gail said picking up the echos too much... The guitar sounds nice.

Overall this is a wonderful song... Nicely done.

Again your voice simply shines, and Chris's sounds great too, beautiful duet. To my clumsy ear I think the chord progression on the guitar at the beginning doesn't quite sit where it should, not sure what it is, maybe should be playing a counterpointing progression, as opposed to following the piano chords.
Again lovely song, I'm very pleased to have come across your work, bravo
