Description
This is an old mix, resurrected as a warm up, atmospheric intro to my 'Space Race Challenge' entries.
The track tries to depict some far flung outpost of humanity, probably around Delta Pavonis, where the usual comings and goings of craft (of all shapes and sizes) would be the same to anyone sat looking through the window of whatever passes for the local Hilton or Holiday Inn as anyone looking out the hotel window at Chas de Gaulle, here on Earth.
I've been quiet over the last few weeks with various items grabbing both my focus and attention, but one must move on and come to terms with all sorts of things that life throws at you. Some you duck and some you have straight in the face. You just have to keep things moving along and one day these trials will be behind you.
This mix comes from sometime earlier this year, and was originally going to be part of another web album, but I never finished any of the tracks completely so never finalised the album.
The track is not perfect, production-wise, but I've tamed it a lot since the initial mix. Honest!!!
As always, please let me know your thoughts.

Paul,
I am starting to feel like I live somewhere in the vacinity of your extra-terrestrial world. Each new soundscape sounds familiar yet somehow unique because of the care you take with the mix of so many elements in your work. No one comes close to emulating that "other world" like you do. To have put this one in terms of vision makes it seem even that much more "real." Another "stellar" depiction of another world, another place. [I hope you WILL finish all these tracks so that you have a compendium of all this work collected in just one place.]
Peace.
Paul
