Cool track Bryn
I like the mix of distortion and clarity - very spacey field and nice movement foreground to background.

It's amazing what could be done,
in those "simpler" day, if you were willing to be patient and committed to a project.

Excellent sound and felling as this moves along. It seems to have a calming effect, which is very cool Bryn.

Cool track my friend, I like it a lot

A Ways Out
Specializing in calling the aliens down is more difficult than emulating a journey to them, Byrn-they are coming now...

I'm floating off my chair
It really is amazing (to quote buddy Ed) what can be done with simpler gear. This is really transportive music - takes me to colours and textures I don't normally have the pleasure to know. The development is so very patient and the space is both vast but has an immediacy to what the listener notices in the washes and little flourishes.

Dload complete.

Be well,
Doug

Someone else
already mentioned patient. You and Bill have such patient approaches and I'm like a bull in a china shop. The results you get are stunning so we appreciate your patience! It's almost like a space lullaby, if that makes sense. Droning me to hypersleep... in the best way.

Drifting through the cosmos
having occasional close encounters with miscellaneous space debris. This is amazing if composed on an SK1, and still quite good even if it wasn't.

My SK1
was done on a SK1 (in part at least)

His SK1 used the original recording and was greatly enhanced by Logic Audio

Glad you liked

Hi Bryn....
This is a great-sounding piece. I remember those old early generation synths.....It's great that you've used them in this piece.

Take care.

reboot!
"Loses all sequence and sample memory when turned off." Ugh, I remember those days, before cheap EEPROM, back in the programmable calculator days. I can hear past the music, to the persistent creative work that went into this... but the resulting music keeps pulling me back out of geekdom to relax and enjoy the journey. Set the controls for the heart of the sun, and we'll be off. I like the ending growly bit too.

ttfn,
Drakonis
