Avogadro's Number

Description
Third in the scientist series. There are ten tracks altogether, six from the Zebra 2 soft synth, three from the Albino 3 and a Logic bass setting. I used Logic's Space Designer on a couple of the tracks.

Slow and gentle, like the others. This tune has taken an age to put together.

Thanks for stopping by. :-)

Lovely, Dave
like a warm, soft blanket: I just want to pull it up and snuggle in. I've not heard of Avagadro but he would probably have liked this ;-)
As usual, downloaded with thanks.

Thank you!
A download is always the best of compliments! I've been really busy with real work of late, so haven't got around to commenting on the Space Race stuff. I will though soon. Sadly, I won't have time to do my own.

Thanks again!

Nice
Great work... I like the subtle bass line. This song has a very warm texture. Would make a great backing track for a movie or game.

Keep it up.

Thanks
I wasn't too sure about the bass in this. Maybe a bit growly? But I'm glad you though it OK.

Thank you
I'd originally spelt "Avogadro" incorrectly, but a kind person pointed it out to me. Had to change the art work, but the embedded artwork still says "Avagadro". I should have checked!

Thanks again.

Thanks Feter
Maybe I should have entered this in the space race challenge! It didn't occur to me that this sounded spacey, I must say.

Thanks for listening, as ever Feter.

Yes, I agree. Nothing like a nice soundscape for a Sunday. Vangelis is a terrific, if undeserved compliment!

Thanks again.

fine composition
I like the whole piece. Synths always work on my sense of "should it be", but this a great piece of work - I wonder how it could sound in an orchestral setting. A really sweet tune here, Dave, VERY attractive thanks

Enveloping serenity
I think your scientist series provides a contemplative, calmly sophisticated, patient, and, in a way, humble sonic portrayal of your subjects. Like Rocha mentioned, this could also be performed with orchestral instruments. I'm curious about your comment. Was it the production or the composition or both that took an age? In any case, well worth the effort. Sounds wonderful.

Duane, you say the kindest things. I will, soon, get around to listening to the SRC stuff, I promise. Need a few hours to myself I think.

Cheers!

Hi Dave.....
You are putting together some really wonderful Ambient soundscape. Each one I think of as special and you then top it with another gem.

This piece once again has, to me, instantaneous appeal and I was focused on the music from the get-go.

Wonderful.

Take care.

Awww!
What about if a few of us put an "Ambient" compilation together? I think it would be cool and I'd be up for it. What you say? Would you be interested in co-ordinating it? I think it would make an excellent album. "MacJambient" anyone?

Thanks, once again Paul.

How nice is this
Supernice? Well, at least that... Actually I was thinking the same as richard13, lovely and a piece to snuggle in to. Seemingly effortless...

This will be played a lot on this computer, I'm sure. It was really worth the wait. Deepest respect.

Peace.
