Description

Life is Short was developed over the period of a couple of weeks, originally as a small Particledots experiment that was located sonically somewhere in the region of Portishead's copy of Pet Sounds. Then Bud threw a slew of guitar tracks into the mix which moved it into another realm entirely. Finally, with James Bond fresh on his mind, Michael 2 added the icing on the cake with his sublimely wonderful vocal tones.

at last
after all of the MJ growing pains, and the "what shall we post first?" emails: the Bond song see's the light of day. Bryn's sonic expertise really surprised me on this one. I have always been impressed, but you really can't overstate the man's skills. The man did like 13 re-mixes. Must agree with Michael
Brynn was the brains and motivation behind this track. He sent me a really comfy bed to play in and indulged multiple rounds of my guitar fantasies. When I heard Michael's amazing vocals I new we had a cool combination and thus APOD was born.

This was great fun to work on
And great to work with M2 and Bud on a focused project like this.

From the little particle experiment, thru the many layers of bud guitars to the great vocal that Michael did, it was quite the journey watching this evolve from version 1 (a track called '10 Questions') to versions 12 + 13.

Good to see Bela making an appearance here

We might get him in to play theremin on the next tune

	Life Is Shorter Than We Know ...the first line of the lyrics whisper of danger while riding on a sensual cushion of ominous darkness. We're in for a hell of a ride, I think.
