very cool and creepy &mdash 12/17/04 - 07:48:32 PM
i realy love this piece. it's got a strange indie film
soundtrack quality to it--i can see it in the closing scenes
of a short film. i think i am drawn most to the lyrics--
vague and clever--"they draw me in", not to mention the
fact that you mention my name--a bonus i guess.
reminds me of tom waits. can't wait to hear more! let me
know if you'd be intersted in a collaborative work.

cheers

new fan &mdash 12/26/04 - 04:43:26 PM
Now that I've listened to all of your songs I've become a
fan. You combine sexy and quirky so nicely. I'm sure
some people don't quite get it, but I do.

Short but sweet... &mdash 12/28/04 - 05:51:53 AM
Interesting rythm and lyrics. Kept my attention throughout. Unique vocal style and effects. Is that you playing guitar? I'm a fan of song that aren't just another electronic dance experiment. This song has guts. And it forges new territory for the MacJams community. It sounds as if you are slightly apprehensive to really attack a song with a vocal delivery. Perhaps that is intentional? But I'd like to hear your voice a little more up front and clean. Thanks for sharing. Take care. 8888

I find the doubling of the vocal a little much on this one. It works in parts, but maybe not through the whole thing. Despite that, it's another fine example of your unique aesthetic. Art meets pop, indeed!

One of my fav artists, Andy that is... this tune sounds
like a cloned Nico on helium - cool effect. Yeah, I
can imagine this being played at The Factory.

I love Andy, too &mdash 05/26/05 - 12:16:32 AM
I really loved this song because of the great poppy tune and the vocal and lyrics are really wonderful, capturing that sort of casual, hey-we're-doing-art-now feeling at The Factory, as well as the tossed off way Andy spoke.

Your voice reminds me of Victoria Williams, who also writes cool, quirky songs. I'd be interested in hearing you sing without the effects on the vocal because I think your voice is really distinctive and good.

I'm off to wrap myself in aluminum foil, now.
