Lyrics
Lyrics by David Griffiths

I went across the stars
From Jupiter to Mars
I crossed Milky Way for you forever
I go out every night
At the speed of light
I cross a million galaxies to find you...

To you I will fly
In clear Venusian skies
Into outer space
I will be with you
From Mercury to Mars
Across thousand stars
To the finite particles of every life

Alone in my perspex dome
Past the solar showers...

I've been to Saturn's every ring
Heard Supernova's sing
Across a lonely universe I call for you
Through clouds of red and green
Through the yellow scene
In every constellation I can feel you...

And in the blue nebula
My voyage will last forever

And now my head is in the moon
I'll be there very soon
Oh darling I will cross the universe for you
On stary stary nights
Beyond the northern lights
The spiral milky way will shine a light for you

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

hahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....etc

Starmen
Great track Bryan - quirky, but really sweet - great vocals. This sounds like a lost classic ... there is officially no justice on this planet.
Check out my latest song called Deeper (w/t Racerat)

no justice at all

A space(y) love song
with an (almost) moon-june-tune rhyme. It is so cool that you can retrieve a 15-yr old tune from out beyond the galaxies and post it for everyone's enjoyment here on terra firma. Time warp!
Check out my latest song called Dancing on the Head of a Pin
particledots_collab_box said 40 days ago (October 15th, 2009)
thanks richard
the moon-june-spoon-tune scheme was always something i loved about this 15yr old classic (wow, i can still remember playing it live like it was yesterday)

time warp!!!!!!!!!!!
ic42 said 43 days ago (October 12th, 2009)
galactic double en-gendre
how many times did you slingshot around the sun to timewarp back to retrieve this? it was worth it... a timeless ballad... a super 8 track.

Check out my latest song called futatsu 0x01

my mate dave is and always was a great lyricist

Drum track takes me back...
A simpler age? Nice tune, lyrics really pull up some great visuals.

This sounds too good for pub fare. I'll bet it was fun to record, especially with that ending synth.

Cheers,
Doug
