Lyrics
tonight's the night we'll make history, repeat, itself, don't put my love on the shelf, tonight, is right, so don't you want to be mine, this time, aw, don't you want to? don't you want to be my...won't you be mine? won't you be my prom queen? got my shoes and my tux, and a few hundred bucks to get me through the night, alright, got a motel room on the seedy side of town, don't frown, don't let it get you down. tonight is right so don't you want to? don't you want to be mine...won't you be mine? won't you be mine? won't you be my valentine? won't you be my prom queen?

Good Song! De-murkify though!
I like the way the song builds,...nice guitar work. my only
issue is I would like to hear less effects on the
vocals...with there already being fairly heavy effects on the
guitar, I think it murks up the song a litte. Less effects
on the vocals might simplify the song too, as well as let
the listener hear the little quirks in your vocals that would
make your voice distinct.

But hey. just my two cents. I like the song though!

You sure have a gifted voice.
Your voice to me is of famous radio quality.

Your voice alone deserves a 10!!!
I love that theme feel, but i am from that era am in love
with the original feel that the originals gave. And would
LOVE to hear you do something like that!!!

Thanks

You sure have a gifted voice.
thanks tiler im flattered and inspired, as i have trouble getting around the
idea of singing. i still listen to alot of 50s and 60s rock and marvel at the
songwriting. its pure and methodical, but not trite at all.

thanks,

damn nice
yeah-80's cheap trick for sure, tho you totally nailed the
50/60's simplicity all the way down to the mono sound &
'prom queen' topic. great work on the guitar, too

Not too bad...
I agree on the Cheap Trick asessment. Brian Wilson's
compositions are actually rather complex... certainly his
chord patterns - they just "sound" simple ; )

A decidedly "thicker" drum sound (ala Bun. E. Carlos)
would help this track.
