I've uploaded a new version of it with better sound quality: Park Sonata (Digital)
I will keep this for historic purposes :)

This is my first composition - May/09. Out of a night where I could not sleep, recalling a walk in Central Park the music started to flow.
It made me into composing and I hope it will be a long and great journey!

Will record again later through MIDI (this was a simple headphone/line-in recording).

	i do it's weird but I hear a couple of additional instruments already lol - started working on an orchestra version of it - but only a beginner in GB and I prefer to record each instrument instead of writing it up... so it will be a couple of extra weeks :) thanks for your comment! what is that word...
when something is simple, strong, and beautiful... I think the word is "elegant" :-) This seems to bubble with the beginnings of greatness.

Very nice first entry on Macjams, and also a wonderful step if this is your first "composition"... I really like it! And I assume you are playing piano "live" here? I have a feeling we have a lot of wonderful music to come from you. I like the way this weaves between major and minor at just the right times, plus a couple of delightfully unexpected times.

Thank you for sharing this gem with us! I look forward to more, as you work on them.

It's my 'debut' in composing. I'm glad you enjoyed.
It was played live - actually more like 'in the dark' because of the recording method I've used: from headphone output into mic line. In order not to distort the recording (Audacity) I had to turn the volume down pretty much to zero - so I had a few takes until one that was satisfying enough after playing in silence :) Karen got a misplayed key...sharp musicians in here ! (tks Karen! :))

Now that I got a MIDI cable have to redo it - and add the great tips I've been receiving.

Please feel free to add any suggestion/tips/changes you'd see fit in the composition. I'm still starting on this :)
