revisionist phiter was performed with one instance of z3ta+ and one instance of DR-008 loaded with ambient sounds.

After performance I added an instance of z3ta+ with a heavily modified therimin patch and another instance of DR-008 + ambient sounds through VST effects.

The DR-008 during performance was critical because I was able to discover the sounds as I performed the piece. (I only tested it a bit before beginning the recording.)

So it is an "enhanced" improvisation.

(both soft synths come with Sonar)

	fee phi based tuning fo fum Eerie. You could definitely do soundtracks for horror or sci-fi movies. You will have to (please) say a word or two about what phi based tuning is (for us non-cognoscenti). Amazing piece. Check out my latest song called Moonset

Hi Ex
In this case the music does not have octaves but instead uses PHI (1.68...) as the octave and divides that number by 12 for the individual notes. This results in a tuning with larger half steps and strange interval combination. A friend at this site http://xenharmonic.ning.com/ developed the tuning. If you want more info on micritonal stuff and how to do it you know where to ask :-)
