Description
A little Tex-Mex ditty. Folks who've heard me play it live say it's more in the Slack Key style.

The Island of Women
If there was such a place, I'd like to take a vacation there. (Don't let Mrs. RT10 know I said that.) *wink*

Nicely done, very pleasant.

Cheers,
Jim

wonderful dreamy
and romantic style of song, straight from those old romantic 'cowboy meets beautiful mexican girl', type of films. This is just beautiful and I find it quite emotional....you said in the 'slack-key' style, but for me it's more in the slack-jaw style LOL I must download this, so thank you for that, regards M

Ah, so
very beautiful. Relaxed, comfortable...almost itching for a ballad lyric about lost and re-found love and a Mariachi interlude. I am sure Mariachi and interlude have never been connected like that before.:)

My favorite subject!
Thanks again John, every piece you post is gorgeous.
This one here is haunting, gentle, yet very moving in the way of the great finger style tradition, I appreciate you sharing your work with us...

I particularly
like your restraint and ability to hold back in your playing. That's a true sign of your artistry with the instrument - you don't rush the technical element - you feel it out and I love it.

really nice and relaxed....but that's because you play so effortlessly so anyone who listens is made to feel completely at ease.
