lovely
wasn't expecting the build after the waves come in. just keeps getting more and more interesting as you go on. the rhodes is a really nice touch, but the delay on that wood block or whatever it is in the main rhythm is just a killer. great stuff Bryn, it's all in the details.

Hi Bryn....
Great piece of imaginative music. It created an interesting soundscape that had my imagination working overtime as I listened closely through my headphones.

Soothing with the wave sounds but ominous, as though something was going to happen. The tension being held by the piece as I listened.

I'll have to look the work of Gabe Guzman up.

Take care.

I don't know Jack about Gabe, but I enjoyed this inspired work. The overall simplicity of the song is what I'm most impressed with. It just chugs along with that smooth bass line and the seagulls and the waves. The electric cycling sound almost suggests that there's danger at the beach. A buried electrical cable where the kids make castles, a machine from another time just beneath the foam...

"Timmy! Where's TIMMY!!? SOMEONE HELP ME FIND TIMMY!!!"

Nice piece of sound.

beach rotater
does anyone wonder how the beach is cleaned of debris? each morning, the trash is gone, and the sand is clean. i waited one night on the beach, to see how it was cleaned. this music is the soundtrack for what i saw.

at midnight, the waves coagulate into millions of reciprocating metallic tentacle-arms, that rise out of the water and reach for the shore. they stretch up onto the sand and rotate like drills, capturing discarded cups and cigarettes, pulling them back into some submerged creature under the surface. you see only flickers of moonlight glinting off the myriad arms, all working in unison, up and down the beach. it is terrifying and mesmerizing. i do not know what this creature is, but i wish it well.
