Lyrics
I made a big mistake
I told you something
That I can’t take back
Ooh I told you that I loved you

Now I’m drowning
Drowning in a sea of blue
I’m blue - I’m blue
Because my love
Has left me - without you

Oh I’m drowning
I’m drowning in a sea of blue
I’m blue because my love of you
Has left me

Has left me without
Oh I’m drowning
I’m drowning in a sea of blue
I made a big mistake that day baby
When I told you

I’m drowning’
In a sea of blue
Over you - over you

I made a big mistake that day baby
When I told you
How I felt about you
I wish I could take it back now
Cause I’m blue

Oh I’m blue
I’m drowning 0h I’m drowning in a sea of blue
Over you

Baby what can I do?
I wish I could take back my comment
And start it all anew

Oh I’m drowning
Oh I’m drowning in a sea of
A sea of blue

excellent all over
Bill, this is a great off-kilter chunk of mauve-tinted blues... Patrick, your guitar work, as always, really fits here, sweet and slow and perfect, and Alannah, really smacks this over the head and drags it kickin'-an'-screamin' out of the park. Excellent lyrics and singing (a touch of clipping here and there, but what's a little distortion among friends?)

Good fresh stuff you three, a sweet menage a trois!

ttfn,
Drakonis

Got dem ole cosmic blues again
man this is something. When Bill first posted this I heard a gospel tune in my head - but you have moved this deep into the soul of blues. Excellent collab - great vocals and killer guitars.

I'm Drownin'
This was cool as originally posted.. deserved some good lyrics and a melody, so its fun to see it evolve like this. The vocals are well suited to the lyric and to this style, and the guitar adds a nice flavor. Good job everyone.

Gospel influenced
singing placed next to a bourbon flavored smoke filled room. Hard and soft all at the same time. Really interesting mix of elements here. Yes, and great singing.
