Lyrics
If I Could Hold Her In My Arms

If I could hold her in my arms
In the bar of my choice
Then sip malt whisky
And sail upon her voice
The crac in the mirror
Becomes a background noise
As she and I together
Sing another song with all the bhoys
The Londonderry Air
As She Moved Through The Fair
She’s all I want to hear
She’s all I want to hear

If life could turn upon its head
And we were back in time
A young man and his fancy
And we were in our prime
Brass buttons shining
And the devil for a rhyme
She and I together
At the first and one last time
Scarborough Fair
Upon A Midnight Clear
She’s all I want to hear
She’s al I want to hear

If I could hold her in my arms

Gorgeous ballad
but then, it is you two singing, so I would expect greatness. Excellent lyrics, so smoothly melting all sorts of references to other songs, I love it. Gorgeous music, superb guitar/fiddle, and singing/harmonies that melt butter... mmm. Very nice work!

Too wonderful
This was actually to wonderful. Extraordinary vocals from both of you, and the guitars gives such a great sound. Both the vocals and the guitars are recorded extremely well. There is both dynamics and great sound quality. I have not listened to the lyrics for real yet, but I believe that I will listen to them quite a lot in the nearby future. They sound great, and I believe they are great.

Thank you for a great piece of music!

Ahhh ..now this is so Scottish trad and so
powerful emotional one ...the harmony is a
killer here ..great song writing ..the wooden
feel despite the drums and bass ..just solid
and tasty in all ...the female vocalist is a
true magic here ...strong one with such lyrics
a gem ...thnx alot for sharin !!!!

beautiful
wow, this is a splendid splendid song and I must really commend the background singers. I think the guitar was well played and I'd like to have heard it up in the mix, with the percussion coming down a bit. regardless of that, this is a really well written song and I love the grit and warmth of your lead vocal.
