Question Answered
Beautiful song. You're never to old to try something new. This sounds like a couple of microphones were used to record a real piano. Great sound - great mix.

as others have said, it's never too late to learn, and clearly you have a gift for this, even if you came to it late. beautiful chord structures, flowing playing, and lovely backing instruments. it's really pretty hard to believe you're new to the piano! congratulations!

New Age interlude
Yes, you can learn anything at any age. I dig the resolution at the end, it was unexpected, since the whole piece hung out there like one long suspension. Very nice atmospheric new age feel.

This sounds like a real piano. How was it recorded?

i ponder
The mood you create here is serene and inspiring. Your musical sense comes through very nicely in your piano playing, and you make up for for the negligent fact to you seem to have just started playing the piano with a very good feel for musical story telling. Strings are a nice touch and the piano sounds organic and has just the right amount of reverb.

Yep.
And you have a gift for it. Swaying now with your additional synths. But, my, this is truly lovely. Many thanks.
